In a musical scene where imitation flattens the scene, and tendencies cloud personality, Riuros brings an unpredictable identity creating a space-time bubble where the ancient and the contemporary merge for a unique experience for its genre.
The search for an authentic personality
In 2025 Riuros is just an idea born living the medieval, celtic and folk music panorama where the bagpipes are the main instruments.
In 20217 it takes shape with a solid personality: the goal is to propose a style with an ancient flavour personified by the bagpipes, refreshed by arrangements that exploit contemporary elements with an eye in the live performances influenced by diametrically opposed experiences.
The music, the performance spaces
The band works for many years with the roving / acoustic shows developing its music and scenic style becoming a reference over time, showing an important musical expressiveness and an indisputable stage presence at medieval fairs and celtic festivals.
The continuous search for “that extra” that can amaze the band itself continues to take care of its clothing nad in the refiniment of stage presence by treating the performance space like a theatre stage.
Two shows, same energy
Over time, two lines of entertainment are carried forward: one roving music and one show on stage.
The acoustic roving music show therefore maintains an idea with solid respect for ancient, medieval, celtic and folk music that offers entertainment for historical events and fairs.
The stage show is a concert that literally takes the idea of the fusion between ancient atmospheres and contemporary sounds involving both ancient and modern instruments going beyond the patterns that have accustomed the contemporary folk scene of celtic music and collateral genres.
